![]() Your only other option that I know is to keep an older Mac or a Windows PC around to play WoW. ![]() Of course, Parallels is a paid product, but you can at least download a trial and see if it works for you. It’s not perfect but has been working okay, and I’m guessing the 3.3.5a client would work this way as well. So what are your options? I am currently playing my 1.6 client on an M1 Mac using Parallels with the ARM64 version of Windows. Add to that the fact that vanilla through WotLK are now very old apps, so they probably aren’t a high priority for the CrossOver developers. These new Macs have a completely different architecture from what old WoW was built to run on. I’d love for someone to show me I’m wrong, but it looks like the compatibility work required to make x86 apps work on ARM/M1 chips simply has not come far enough yet, at least on the Mac side. I got the same error when attempting to use a 1.6 client on an M1 Mac in Crossover.
